About the Authors

Written by Dr Sarah Lantz PhD Co-Director of Buchi Brew Co, esteemed health, food and fermentation institution and author of best-selling Chemical Free Kids: Raising Healthy Children in a Toxic World and One Bite at a Time: Reduce Toxic Exposure and Eat the World You Want with ferment artist extraordinaire, nutritionist and Co-Director of Gutsy Ferments Wei’er Higgs.As key author, Sarah undertook the research and interviews writing most of the

 

stories and breakout info throughout. Wei’er took the culinary lead with her ingeniously creative recipes for fermented vegetables, sourdough and cultured desserts while fermented beverages, milks and broth recipes were Sarah’s area of expertise. All recipes were collaboratively developed and written with the intention of shedding light on many years of collective learning along their brewing, fermenting, baking and general making journeys for the purpose of connection, wholeness and healing.
